Qui embauche l'immigrant francophone?
(In French only)
In the non-profit sector, there are multiple positions available which allow people to make a suitable career. Most of the time, the conditions of employment are more flexible and very favourable to immigrants because of their role in community service.
On the other side, there is a whole constituent of the private sector which applies to the Employment Equity Act in Canada. This act, by itself, increases considerably the chances of hiring immigrants (who are women, visible minorities, with disabilities) for available positions that are designated in the company at the time of hiring.
This guide was published after an exhaustive and thorough research to list:
- Community organizations (francophone or non francophone) that offer services in French
- List of positions in demand, region by region
- Companies that apply Employment Equity Act.
